Not every hot tub has to be a permanent backyard installation with special wiring and a concrete pad. If that picture has been holding you back, there is a product you should know about. Meet the Softub.
Softub is a different kind of hot tub, and for a lot of Oklahomans it is exactly the right kind. If you rent, live in a smaller space, or just do not want the commitment of a full built-in spa, this one is worth a serious look.
What makes a Softub different
Traditional hot tubs are hard-sided, heavy, and built to stay put. A Softub takes a different approach. It is soft-sided and lightweight, with a durable, cushioned exterior that is comfortable to lean against and simple to live with.
That soft, insulated design is not just about comfort. It is what makes everything else about the Softub so easy.
It plugs into a standard outlet
This is the feature that surprises people most. A Softub plugs into a regular household outlet. No dedicated electrical panel work, no electrician appointment, no waiting.
For renters especially, this is a game changer. You do not have to modify the property or ask a landlord to approve major electrical work. You plug it in and you are on your way to a warm soak.
Light enough to move yourself
Because a Softub is soft-sided and far lighter than a traditional spa, you are not locked into one spot forever. Move it to a different part of the deck. Take it with you when you move to a new place. Store it if you need to.
Try doing that with a standard hot tub and you are calling in a crew. A Softub gives you flexibility that hard-sided spas simply cannot.
Who it is perfect for
A Softub tends to be the right fit for:
- Renters who want a hot tub without altering the property.
- Homeowners with smaller yards, decks, or patios where a large spa will not fit.
- Anyone who wants relaxation and warm-water comfort without a big installation project.
- People who like the idea of taking their spa with them if they move.
Comfort and relaxation without the fuss
Do not let the simplicity fool you. A Softub still delivers the warm, soothing soak you are looking for. It heats efficiently, feels great on tired muscles, and gives you that end-of-day wind-down without the complexity of a full built-in system.
For a lot of people, it turns out to be all the hot tub they ever needed.
